Vintage Bordallo Pinheiro Shamrock and Basketweave 14" Serving Platter in Yellow & Green.
Of interest this company was started in Portugal in 1884 by Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro. He created hundreds of ceramic pieces. He had the company for 21 years. But after his death his son continued his work. In 2008 the company was in crisis and was purchased by another company and has remained the vision of the founder. Newer pieces have a more modern look to them.
This brightly colored 14" platter of yellow and green shamrocks is so pretty. The platter is in excellent condition and measures 14" long by 9.8 " wide. Lovely for Summer or anytime....
