Heading Into The Ides of March!

The saying "Beware of the Ides of March" comes from Shakespeare's telling of Caesar's death!

Today, the Ides of March has a better tone to it, and for good reason. Quite a few historical weather events around the globe have occurred on or near March 15th, including tropical cyclones and winter storms.

March arrives as a hungry spring bear, but then Like magic, there it is…the first whisper of spring. Everyone gets out and sweeps the last of winter off their walks and we all roll up our sleeves and begin cleaning up after old man winter.

But March for us at Distinctive Vintage means new products coming your way! Starting with Daylight Savings time on March 10th,St. Patrick's Day March 17th, Spring begins on March 19th at 11:06 p.m. and this year Easter is early!

It is the first mild day of March. Each minute sweeter than before…there is a blessing in the air.

A great way to celebrate for St. Patrick's Day is setting a nice table, even if your just having friends they will welcome the "wearing of the green". I was hosting and Bella was the hit of the night...she came with family and what better way to celebrate!

These were last year's pictures. I did Cupcakes and of course the traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage. What a great meal!!!
