Vintage Puritan "Melody" Teapot and Lid a popular pattern of china which existed in Japan from 1950's to the 1970's. This pattern has long been discontinued and is a gem to even find one available now in perfect condition. The Teapot has beautiful flowers around the whole body of the teapot and the top with gold accent whoch is not worn. The teapot holds approximately 4 cups and measures approximately 8" in height to the tope of the lid and 9.5 in width from the spout to the handle. The teapot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
