Vintage Challinor & Taylor "Tree of Life" Small Egg Shaped Canister/Jar with Lid. Bit of history, Challinor & Taylor Co began in 1885 in Tarentum, PA and were a very popular glass company in that state. The pressed milk glass featured “Tree of Life” designs with flowers, leaves and ribbed patterns. They were only in business from 1885 to 1893 but was foremost producers of Milk Glass. What a beautiful piece of history over 125 years old.
The canister measures 7" in height from bottom to the top of the finial and 3.5" at the opening. The canister is in excellent condition for it's age with no chips or cracks.
